Oasis Behavioral Health is proud to announce our partnership with The Jason Foundation, Inc. The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) is a suicide prevention and awareness organization dedicated to prevent the silent epidemic of youth suicide through a variety of educational and awareness programs designed to equip young people, educators, youth workers, and parents with the tools and resources necessary to help identify and assist at-risk youth. Oasis Behavioral Health, a leader in the treatment of at-risk youth is proud to announce that we have opened our JFI Community Resource Center, located in Chandler, Arizona.
Throughout our decades of experience, Oasis remains committed to the prevention and intervention of youth suicide. All too often we encounter youth who have become hopeless and feel lost; many believe they have no other way out than to end their lives. Many of these children become our clients and through our programs, regain hope about the future and learn to believe in themselves. However, we understand that other at-risk youth may never get help, struggle with depression, or even end their lives. This is why it’s vital that important community members and people who work with children each day are able to recognize the signs that a youth may be in trouble so that these children obtain the help they so desperately need.
By partnering with JFI, Oasis Behavioral Health is able to provide free suicide prevention education to students, teachers, parents, coaches, and others who work with youth to recognize signs a youth may be contemplating suicide and provide tangible help for at-risk youth with the sole purpose of preventing a needless death.
