Oasis Behavioral Health is pleased to provide a number of outpatient programs for adolescents and adults who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, or chemical dependency concerns. These programs can be utilized as a step down from a higher level of care, such as inpatient services, or implemented as the level of care needed to effectively address and treat such concerns. As a less intensive form of treatment, our outpatient programming is specifically designed to increase each patient’s self-worth while fostering belonging and responsibility so that healthy functioning can be achieved. In many cases, our outpatient interventions prevent inpatient treatment needs and increase independence in the community.
The following outpatient programs are those featured at Oasis Behavioral Health:
Mental Health IOP: Oasis’s mental health intensive outpatient programs are specially designed to treat adolescents between the ages of 11 and 17 as well as adults 18 and older who require care for an existing mental health disorder or disorders. These programs implement tools and skills needed to cope with symptoms of a myriad of mental health conditions so that future crises can be prevented. Evidence-based treatment protocols including Living in Balance mental health modules, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Informed Care are utilized to ensure that care is effective. These programs place a great deal of focus on increasing strengths to support lasting recovery.
Substance Abuse IOP: The substance abuse intensive outpatient programs use the Living in Balance curriculum to address the co-occurring mental health issues at the root of addiction. These programs, for adolescents between the ages of 11 and 17 and adults 18 and older, are intended to address alcohol and substance use disorders while focusing on whole person recovery and an emphasis on family, education/vocation, legal, spiritual and mental/physical health needs.
Girls Prevention & Stabilization IOP: Tailored specifically to meet the needs of female adolescents ages 11 to 17, the Girls Prevention and Stabilization (GPS) intensive outpatient program offers treatment for young females who have experienced trauma and abuse, trafficking-related trauma, mental health issues, and/or substance use concerns. Case managers work closely with each girl to ensure that any immediate health or safety concerns are addressed in an effective way. The goal of this program is to address trafficking related trauma and legal concerns in an outpatient setting to preserve independence in the community while working towards maintaining personal safety and healthy lifestyles.
Each of these programs in Chandler, AZ, incorporate the following into the innovative care experienced by patients:
- Group counseling, of which is held 3 times per week
- Individual counseling sessions (based on need)
- Family sessions (based on need)
- Weekly family dinners
Our staff of qualified professionals complete both pre and post assessments so that each patient’s progress can be monitored. This is also done to ensure successful treatment completion for every individual who participates in Oasis’s outpatient care.
